What Is It?

The Mystery Guest consultation for medium to smaller attendance churches gives you first-hand insight into how outsiders experience your church. Mystery guests visit your church and complete observation surveys, which are compiled into an 80-page Assessment Report with recommended training and suggested action steps.


Designed to be affordable and effective for the medium to smaller attendance congregation.

How Does It Work

  • The church contacts Dynamic Church Ministries for an initial consultation call. Request this call by submitting the response form at the bottom of this page. 
  • The church is provided a paper Observation Survey Master by email for review.
  • DCM will provide guidelines for recruiting Mystery Guests.
  • Client church will enlist 3-12 Mystery Guests to visit over a 2-3 month period.
  • DCM will provide training for all Mystery Guest volunteers.
  • DCM will provide 5 email templates for communication with Mystery Guests.
  • By agreed on date, DCM will create and launch a customized on-line Observation Survey for the client church.
  • DCM will create a unique, customized URL for the client to review the Observation Survey responses weekly.
  • Each week of the program, DCM will monitor incoming surveys.
  • At the conclusion of all visits by the client church's Mystery guests, DCM will produce an 80-page Consultant's Assessment Report, detailing ratings, results and responses. The report will include charts and graphs, which can be used by the client church for other presentations to leaders or members.
  • DCM will provide a 1-hour debrief consultation meeting to review the final report and recommendations for training and suggested action steps. 

Pricing and Terms

  • The basic Mystery Guest program requires an investment of $588.00 (for 3-8 Mystery Guests). 
  • A 15% discount is provided when a referral or recommendation is made from a regional or state denominational leader about the church's participation in this church strengthening / revitalization program. 
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the start date of your Mystery Guest program. 
  • Full payment is required no later than 30 days from the delivery of the final DCM Consultant's Report.
